Madeline Albright we love you!

I sincerely hope that soon the President of Kosova will honour her with the highest state medal: Hero of Kosova!

Madeleine Albright, I'm sorry to say, is no hero. Perhaps for the Kosovan Albanian population, she is. But, from an American perspective, she's been the purveyor of a particular State Dept. agenda for quite some time. One that seeks to assure that US business interests are considered above all else. If you want Kosovo to be a foreign state of the US, that's fine, but my tax dollars would be better spent empowering Kosovans to rely on themselves versus the Madeleine Albrights of the world. If this offends, sorry -but do a little more research on her foreign policy mandates elsewhere, and you'll see what I'm talking about. Kosovo for Kosovans...Albright out!!!

Your political ideology is blatantly right wing and has no material or factual evidence to support it.

YOUR WAY OFF BASE - IT'S A COMMENT SECTION, NOT A "FOREIGN POLICY ANALYSIS" SECTION. HOW DO YOU DERIVE THE IDEOLOGY IS "BLATANTLY RIGHT WING" WHEN I COME TO THE SAME CONCLUSION THAT YOU DO...BUSINESS INTERESTS, NOT HUMANITARIAN CONCERNS, DRIVE US FOREIGN POLICY - REGARDLESS OF THE ADMINISTRATION.

AS WELL, I OBJECT VEHEMENTLY TO OUR U.S. MIS-ADVENTURES IN AFGHANISTAN AND IRAQ. THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION HAS WRONGLY USED OUR POLICY OF ENGAGEMENT BY CITING THE HUMANITARIAN ALBRIGHT-CLINTON LED NATO INTERVENTION AS A JUSTIFICATION FOR LIBERATING THE OPPRESSION OF OTHERS...AND IRAQ IS ARGUABLY A MUCH MORE DEADLY PLACE NOW.

SHOULD ONE THANK ALBRIGHT FOR THIS FOREIGN POLICY DECISION?

I UNDERSTAND FEW, IF ANY, ALTERNATIVES WERE PRESENTED TO THE KOSOVO ALBANIANS ON THIS ONE...GRANTED...BUT DON'T TRY TO SELL ME ON ALBRIGHT'S WONDERFUL QUALITIES AS A SEC. OF STATE. I HAPPEN TO AGREE MORE THAN I DISAGREE WITH THE BOMBING, BUT ALBRIGHT STILL REPRESENTS AN AMERICAN - "WE KNOW WHAT'S BEST FOR YOU WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT" FOREIGN POLICY AGENDA.

AS WELL, IN MY HUMBLE OPINION - MS. ALBRIGHT PICKED A WAR TO SUPPORT - ONE THAT HAD REDEEMING CHARACTERISTICS FOR A CLINTON ADMINISTRATION THAT FAILED TO ACT IN RAWANDA AND ELSEWHERE.

Not to take a partisan side, but if you believe that your tax dollars would be better spent calling on people to rely on themselves, then what the hell has our current State Department done with Afghanistan and Iraq? ANSWER BELOW

Your tax dollars are going to support the revenues of defense giants and big oil companies that make up the majority of this Administration's staff.

AND I VERY MUCH OBJECT TO THIS

READ MY ORIGINAL STATEMENT..."But, from an American perspective, she's been the purveyor of a particular State Dept. agenda for quite some time. One that seeks to assure that US business interests are considered above all else."

I'VE JUST SAID THE SAME THING YOU'VE SAID!!! "...an agenda that seeks to assure the US business interests are considered above all else!"

YOU OBVIOUSLY FEEL DIFFERENTLY ABOUT ALBRIGHT - DO YOU THINK THAT ALBRIGHT IS STEERING KOSOVO TOWARDS SELF-SUSTAINABILITY? I AM VERY SKEPTICAL ABOUT THIS.

As well...
IF Western leaders and Ms. Albright were motivated to intervene in Kosovo out of concern at the suffering of the Kosovo Albanians, why have they not intervened to protect the Kurds from Turkish oppression? Or the Palestinians from the Israelis? Madeleine Abright needs to be questioned just like the rest of them.
