Koha Ditore covers the meetings of Kosovo Assembly members and their colleagues from the European Parliament in Brussels. The paper says that while European Parliament members were mainly interested in the position of the Serb minority, the Kosovan representatives emphasized that the key obstacle in Kosovo is the lack of status and Belgrade’s negative role that prevents Serbs from joining the institutions.
According to Koha, both European parliamentarians and their colleagues from Kosovo expressed their belief that a settlement on Kosovo’s final status should be reached as soon as possible.

Why should the majority care about the minority, final status is democracy, it is not quick or something to be taken lightly, all persons individual rights regardless of who they are (Serbs,Albanians,Romas,Askalis etc.) be must be protected, and at this time there is to much evidence that this cannot be done. Final status is a long way off, it can and will be done, one day maybe not in your lifetime, but one day.
Because they know your kind !

This is just the politics as usual, but Kosovar Albanians will get independence one way or another. Therefore the minority Serbs should think about that if they are planning to live in Kosova any longer.
Yeah, it's pure politics. The EU is giving Serbs a bone just so they keep quite. Everyone is welcomed to talk about minorities in Kosova; they're treated better than elsewhere in Europe.
