Independence of Kosovo – possible

Express reports that UN SG’s representative for displaced persons Walter Kaelin said that independence of Kosovo and secession of Montenegro are possible and called for more attention toward IDPs. ‘It is difficult to predict the future status of Kosovo and Montenegro. The option of independence is not excluded, but in this case we should be careful because such a solution may have a negative impact on the will of the displaced to return to their homes’, Kaelin is quoted to have said while visiting Belgrade.

The IDP issue cannot be ignored, but regardless of this issue the main issue is, can the Albanians and Serbs live side by side,as individuals they do fine, but as a group there are problems, and I dont know if they can be resolved at this time. The UN will be there for along time to come.

The Albanians have already shown their readiness to live to forget and forgive.
Albanians will live side by side in an independent and sovereign Kosova. The question is can the Serbs??

The people of serbs should understand that they have been there in KOSOVO NOT on their account but .... endorse by the political prejudice .. from the big power treaty of senstefan, congress of berlin conference of abbassadors in London dec: 1912 etc..., they know that to the full but their academi supported by the common albanian foe have darken the history. read Durham OR TRUE history and you will see that turks are not defeated by Serbs nor by Greeks naither by Bulgaria not from Romania BUT FROM ALBANIAS. Serbs shoul understand the time is against their mith, and they knows the serbs there ment kosovo are settlers not rooted they know the during the many years they brought from croacia slovenia B&H srbia with persuasive space of land serbs know that but their kids not , the land simply is confiscated, is siple explenation . What they do not fathem they have to give up their dream in the mid of the day and put up and shut up.

Yesterday was history, live and forget, if you cant do that then your world will be forever dictated.

Very well said above poster.

I would also like to add that it's not as much about forgeting, its about preventing. Going back to non-independence means that our world will be dictated, so we will forget eventualy, but we need space to do so, and we need not be dictated inorder to actualy do it.
