Zëri reports on the front page that based on the warnings from the last couple of weeks, September could be a month of political protests that would focus on the preparations of the Kosovan society and the international community for the period of resolving Kosovo’s status. The paper points out the recent statements made by the Movement for Self-Determination, the War Veterans and the National Movement for the Liberation of Kosovo (LKÇK).
‘Although no one should doubt the seriousness of these warnings,’ says the paper, ‘the real influence and potential of these structures can hardly bring together great a great number people.’
According to Zëri, the fate of protests against negotiations and the aims of Self-Determination, War Veterans and the LKÇK largely depend on the decisions of the leadership of PDK. The paper notes that in its recent statements, the PDK leadership is leaving its doors open to two possible options of behaviour in the next couple of months.
