Kosova Sot quotes Kai Eide, the special envoy for the assessment of standards, as saying that his mission will be independent and he would cooperate with all the involved parties. In an interview for BBC, Eide said he would start his mission as soon as possible, possibly next week.
Eide said he would spend much time in Kosovo, and also pay visits and hold talks in Belgrade, in Contact Group countries and in neighbouring countries.
Epoka e Re quotes Eide as saying that progress has been achieved in some standards for Kosovo.
