Zëri reports of COMKFOR Yves de Kermabon’s visit to Kaçanik where he gave assurances that KFOR is ready to handle any situation it comes across in Kosovo.
‘I think the situation with freedom of movement is good. There should be a psychological unblock of the people because there freedom of movement exists’, said de Kermabon.
He also said he was optimistic that the security situation in Kosovo would be calm during talks for final status, but added that the dialogue was more of a responsibility of Kosovo’s people and political leaders than with KFOR.
He mentioned these views to those living in Kaçanik stressing that they should to continue work on creating a multiethnic Kosovo.
