Serb civilian found dead in eastern Kosovo

Kamenica, 7 May: Borivoje Mitic, aged 53, from the village of Ranilug in the municipality of Kosovska Kamenica, was found dead near the village this morning.

As FoNet has learned, Mitic's lifeless and mutilated body was discovered by the local inhabitants.

Members of UNMIK [UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo] and Kosovo Police Service carried out an investigation, and Mitic's body was sent for a post mortem.

The Serbs from Ranilug did not want to speculate about possible causes of Mitic's death, and the inhabitants said that he was a peaceful and respectable man and that he had most probably collapsed in a ditch where, it is being assumed, dogs attacked him.

Before anyone jumps to conclusions, DOGS in Kosova/Kosovo can kill, even in Prishtina where its a big city. If you want to see dogs in the "wild" come to Prishtina, packs.

also, the govt needs to clean this mess up, elderly people will get attacked, same with kids. The Norwegian NATO contingent was doing some of the cleaning but not enough :( unfortunately the solution is to kill these animals :(

oh, please...
I wonder if you'd have said the same thing if the victim was an albanian.
By the way, before anyone jumps to conclusions - I'm not Serbian.

So I do not jump to conclusions, what are you?

A British citizen following closely what is going on in the Balkans; however, that is irrelevant. You are still quite good at manipulating the media when you want to justify your actions, but not as good as before - people tend to ask more questions now.
Do you remember the children that drowned last yera during the second half of March? Maybe they were attacked by dogs as well?

British citizen, there were winesses who saw the murder of the children happen. ...And just because the survivor was a child his account was quicky dismissed. Wherever you are from, you are quite biased. Nobody is manipulating anything. This sound so much like the Serb propaganda. I wonder why that is?

I think you are missing my point; have a look at this independent report about the incident in question and the meaning of being biased.
Generally, the facts about the Serbian atrocities are evident and no one is trying to dispute that. However, in the last few years your behaviour seems to be chillingly similar, if not worse then that.

I would have said the same thing if the victim was Albanian but I can assure you that if he was Albanian it would not make it in the news. But since he is Serb, the media reports it.

Albanians are good at "manipulating the media" as much as the Greeks are at having their trains run on time, i.e. not very good. Look, this is the only English language news (blog on top of that) coming from apparently a more unbiased position, but all the rest are either Serb or Macedonian.

And for the kids, that was the only time I know of medias involvement in anything.

So yes, the govt needs to clean up that mess with the dogs for everyone. It is very likely that dogs did kill this person but of course if there are no bites (evidence) then this cannot stand (I didn't see the body). I know of at least 3 other cases while I lived in Prishtina (big city), this is a serious issue.

God save the Queen! :)
Britain is a lovely country...
