Western diplomatic sources in Pristina have told Zëri that Serbian President has turned down the proposal of the Project for Ethnic Relations to meet with Kosovo President Rugova in a conference scheduled to be held in Luzern, Switzerland, in the end of June.
The same sources also told the paper that in the opinion of Western circles the whole issue with invitations between Pristina and Belgrade is a political game, which will soon devaluate. The sources said that none of the four top officials have the genuine willingness to meet their counterparts.
In a related article, Koha Ditore reports on the front page that Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos has conveyed to President Rugova the message of Tadic for a possible meeting in the near future.
