Rest in peace Mons. Mark Sopi.

This is a truly sad news. He was a good man, a clever man who loved his people and who's people loved him.

Thank you for everything Mons. Sopi!

It's sad that he didn't live to see an independent Kosova. He's gone to a better place.

Truly is sad :( I was a kid when he taught me my prayers. Had many great times I had in his presence at different functions. Taught me a lot about our history and what albanians had to endure. My fellow priest foremost, my friend, and mentor I pray thee that you are in God's presence.

Isn't this the guy who said that Serbian monasteries were actually Albanian churches that Serbs converted and that Albanians were Illyrians while Serbs were barbaric invaders?

This guy was anything but a man of God. He used his position as a disguise for inciting ethnic hatred against Serbs. A true Christian would not advocate genetic superiority. He is rotting in hell now.

What were the ppl prior to the ottomans conquering the balkans? More specifically what religion were they? Maybe orthodox or catholic so maybe the churches were shared or were albanian , not all of course, but there were some that were.

And why did FROY (specifically serbia) start building churches after '81 in kosovo/a? To show the world OH LOOK THERE ARE CHURCHES HERE AND THAT MEANS THE SERBS LIVED HERE! Full of crap. The book was published in '85 trying to prove that statement.
