Kosovo returns minister beaten up in Pristina restaurant

Text of report by Bosnian Serb news agency SRNA

Pristina, 31 August: Slavisa Petkovic, minister for return and communities in the Kosovo government, was beaten up last night in the Cao restaurant outside Pristina.

According to eyewitnesses, Petkovic was manhandled by one of his closest aides Dragisa Vukcevic.

"I did not beat him up - he got a few slaps after we had a debate on whether, as a minister, he has a moral duty to attend the funeral of the two Serbs in Suvi Do village near Lipljan [two Serb youths killed on Saturday evening in drive-by shooting in Strpce]," Vukcevic said.

He stressed that every Serb "should have been there [at the funeral] instead of at political gatherings or visiting other areas".

Ooops! Inter-Serb violence.

Here we go again with this Serb on Serb violence. They should blame an Albanian again. Wait the owner of the restaurant might have been Albanian. Who knows what he put on their soups.

to the above blogger, u must be albanian, cuz that was funny, I also wonder if not Vukevic is half albanian or something, cuz serb-on-serb violence doesn't exist..hehehe..or does it?,

It was the Albanians!

Btw, Petkovic is pretty big man he is really a fit guy Vukevic must have been a giant in that case :O. I can only think of Ramush who would beat Petkovic otherwise, he was in the special forces of MUP and so on..

Why was there not any witty comments about the drive by shootings of the two Serbs? You Albs can be hypocrites sometimes...........

There were comments about it if you read carefully but in such a way that does not get off the topic the current news is about. Unlike you Martyr, who systematicaly posts unrelated comments on the news items.

The two killed Serbs are not the center of the universe. Yes their murder is unfortunate (and most likely intra-ethnic as UNMIK is saying) but so are the unexplained murders of Albanians which are much more frequent. If you read the comment well you see that the witty comments are a continuation of the former along the same lines: you can't expect 0 violence among Serbs because they are human beings too.
I was actually expecting intra-Serb political violence considering the unfulfillment of Serb political aspirations so far, which has ensued the blame game that has been going on already between the local Serb leaders.

The manhandling is one like that. We'll see about the two youths once a police report is in.

I think it was the Croatians...

On the same day the two young Serb men were killed in Kosovo, over 27 murders of the same kind happened in Serbia and Montenegro.
I'm surprised they haven't blamed us for those murders too. I mean if it's something bad the Albanians did it, if it's something good the Serbs did, isn't that the way it goes?
