Revival of idea for National Security Council

Citing reliable local and international sources, Zëri reports that the idea for creating a National Security Council has resurfaced in the last couple of weeks after the assassination of Enver Haradinaj and the explosion at ORA premises in Pristina centre.

The paper says that UNMIK has the final competencies on the area of security and therefore even if the National Security Council is created it would most probably be directly linked to the SRSG and UNMIK. ‘It seems that the most serious presentation of this idea could happen at the Political Forum of Kosovo,’ the paper added.
