Belgrade decides that Serbs will boycott Kosovo institutions

Oliver Ivanovic, leader of List for Kosovo, has not agreed with the decision of Council. ‘Without the participation of Serbs in the Kosovo institutions, Serbs are only monitors of events in Kosovo’ said Ivanovic.

Council for Kosovo has assessed that, for now, there are no conditions for Kosovo Serbs to enter in Kosovo institutions. According to this Council, UNMIK and Kosovo institutions ‘have done nothing for the return of Serbs and other minorities’.

Oliver Ivanovic said that, ‘if there are no Serbs in the institutions, then there are no Serbs in the Assembly. Inside the institutions we are witnesses; outside we are only commentators’.
