In an opinion piece in Koha Ditore, Brussels’ correspondent Augustin Palokaj notes that Tony Blair’s victory in elections in Great Britain is good news for Kosovo, too.
‘The remaining of the Labour Government in power in Great Britain guarantees the implementation of the calendar that leads to the status of Kosovo, bearing in mind that Great Britain will take over EU presidency on July 1st at a time when it has the most advanced position toward Kosovo. The eventual change of the government in Britain would have brought an unpredictable policy vis-à-vis Kosovo,’ added Palokaj.
