Podgorica, 5 May: The deputy president of the Serb National Council for Northern Kosovo, Rada Trajkovic, has assessed that the model of Bosnia-Hercegovina with its two entities should be applied as a solution to the province's final status.
"The use of Bosnia-Hercegovina as a model would protect Serbs and prevent the continuation of ethnic cleansing," Trajkovic told the Podgorica-based [daily] Dan.
She believes that in this way there would not be any changes to borders, while for Serbs "decentralization was a matter of life or death and the only way for them to survive in Kosovo".
"We expect the international community to accept this model," Trajkovic said, adding that Belgrade will have an influence in Kosovo as long as Serbs live there.
