Kosovo premier wants clarification of Contact Group's stance on final status

Prishtina [Pristina], 7 April: Kosova [Kosovo] Prime Minister Bajram Kosumi said today that he will request from the international community to come up with a clear stance on Kosova's final status during the meeting of the Contact Group in Prishtina next week.

Kosumi made those remarks following a meeting he had with UNMIK [UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo] deputy chief administrator, Larry Rossin.

Decentralization, implementation of the Standards, as well as the meeting of the political directors of the Contact Group country members were some of the topics of the meeting.

"I will request clarification of the framework for resolving of final status and I will insist the international community have a clearer stance on status, namely for respecting of the will of Kosova's people," he said.

Kosumi and Rossin also discussed about organizing of dialogue on technical issues between Prishtina and Belgrade.
