Picture of the Day - Gjakova, Kosova

A ethnic Albanian girl weeps next the coffin with the remains of her father during a funeral in Gjakova, west of the Pristina, April 22, 2005. Thousands of ethnic Albanians mourned their 14 relatives and co-villagers, who killed by the Serbian security forces six years in Gjakova, during the reburial ceremony on Friday. More than 800 bodies were exhumed in 2001 from mass graves near Belgrade and in eastern Serbia. The Serb authorities are slowly returning the bodies to Kosovo. REUTERS/Hazir Reka

"Propaganda? Nah, couldn't be!"

Nah, actually it was a hoax to bomb the Serbs. The West made up the claims of the wars with the Croatians, Slovenians, Bosnians and the Albanians just to frame the peace loving Serbs.
On another note: are you always this stupid or just on weekends?

Her father is being buried after 6 years in a mass grave in Serbia. You should cry too for the arrogance some had and gave the right to themselves to take other peoples lives. Unless you agree that arrogance.

After the revocation of Kosova's autonomy, the Serbian authorities closed schools in the Albanian language, massively dismissed Albanians from state-owned enterprises, and suspended Kosova's legal parliament and government. Serbia instituted a regime of systematic oppression of the Albanian population in Kosova, and flagrant violations of basic rights of Albanians occured frequently. kosova

You have no idea, you arrogant son of a bitch. Have you ever been there? I am and American who visited there in 2004 and saw the mass graves myself. I am no political propoganda tool. Pathetic that you poke fun at the Albanians who were slaughtered for the Serbs enjoyment! Do your research or try visiting a place before you write such stupid comments! You want to see video? photos? I have proof it exists!

I read this trying to find some type of closure in my life. Why were innocent members of my family killed that I was never able to meet. And so violently in their old age? I am an American Albanian/first generation to be born and raised on American soil. My parents fled Kosov in the 1960's due to many persecutions they were forced to endure under the Serbian Regime. Why? And to mock Albanians and be so hateful - Why? We must break this chain. It is obviously taking you no where. I hope and pray God is merciful. GOD bless AMERICA!
