Albanian premier pledges support for Kosovo's "European future"

Tirana, 4 April: Prime Minister Fatos Nano told today (Monday) [4 April] after a meeting with the head of Democratic Party of Kosova (Kosovo) (PDK), Hashim Thaci, that "we will continue to work for a European future even for Kosova."

In a press statement Premier Nano added: "We continue working together even for more obvious progress in the political process bringing standards for status even in Kosova." "This meeting, just as all relations with Prishtina (Pristina) and other regional factors, completely serve this commitment and we are making steps forward in order to include Kosova in regional and international tables where the process of status is developing," stressed Nano. Whereas, Thaci stated his trust in the cooperation to "respect the will of Kosova citizens for an independent state", as well as "in the sincere commitment of the Albanian state to democratic reforms in the region".
