What is that star on top of the eagle? Looks like a Jewish one

Anonymous said...

That is the star of David. This is a great picture.

One of the Arber Principalities used that star. It is from the principality of the Balshaj. Scanderbeg used it as one of its State of Arber symbols.

Burns got framed with the double-headed eagle on his back :). It's hard to be a politician these days.

If u press this link you'll see where the star is from...as one poster said, scanderbeg used it..here it is:

US and British officials told us that at least 100,000 were murdered in Kosovo. A year later, fewer than 3,000 bodies have been found - False figues from the Kosovo Liberation Army promulgated as fact - Brief Article

New Statesman, Sept 4, 2000 by JOHN Pilger

After more than a year, the silence of those who wrote and broadcast the propaganda for Nato's "humanitarian war" over Kosovo remains unbroken: they who answered the Prime Minister's call to join "a great moral crusade" against a regime that was "set on a Hitler-style genocide equivalent to the extermination of the Jews during World War Two".

Something had to be done, they insisted. After all, by March last year, 500,000 Kosovar Albanians were missing, feared dead, according to the US State Department. In mid-May, the US defence secretary, William Cohen, said: "We've now seen about 100,000 military-aged men missing... They may have been murdered." Two weeks later, David Scheffer, the US ambassador at large for war crimes, increased the 100,000 figure to as many as "225,000 ethnic Albanian men aged between 14 and 59". The British press took their cue. "Flight from genocide," said the Daily Mail. "Echoes of the Holocaust," chorused the Sun and the Mirror.

As the bombing dragged on, the facade began to crack; British television viewers were shown the ruins of trains and refugee convoys attacked by Nato aircraft, and their victims. "We have a public relations meltdown," said someone at Downing Street. On cue, the then Foreign Office minister, Geoffrey Hoon, announced that, "in more than 100 massacres", about 10,000 ethnic Albanians had been killed, adding that "the final toll may be much worse". Although inexplicably reduced from the original claims of 500,000 and 100,000, this was a substantial and utterly unsubstantiated figure.

By mid-June, with the bombardment over, international forensic teams began subjecting the province to minute examination. The American FBI arrived to investigate what was called the "largest crime scene in the FBI's forensic history". Several weeks later, having found bodies but not a single mass grave, the FBI went home. The Spanish forensic team also returned home, its leader complaining angrily that he and his colleagues had become part of "a semantic pirouette by the war propaganda machines, because we did not find one -- not one -- mass grave".

At grave site after grave site, the story was similar. Reports in the western media, sourced to local people but often traced back to the Kosovo Liberation Army (as with the figures quoted above), became unbelievable. One explanation was that the Serbs had come in the night and taken the bodies away. "Where," wrote Michael Parenti in his review of the investigation, "was the evidence of mass grave sites having been disinterred? Where were the new grave sites now presumably chock-full of bodies?"

Perhaps the most significant disclosure, confirmed by the International Criminal Tribunal last October, was that the Trepca lead and zinc mines contained no bodies. Trepca was central to the drama of the "genocide" investigation: the corpses of more than 1,000 murdered Albanians were presumed hidden there, many of them disposed of in vats of hydrochloric acid, according to Nato and American officials. According to the Mirror, there was evidence of the "mass dumping of executed corpses" and "Auschwitz-style furnaces". Not a single body was found: no teeth, no remains.

Last November, the Wall Street Journal published the results of its own investigation and dismissed "the mass-grave obsession". Instead of "the huge killing fields some investigators were led to expect ... the pattern is of scattered killings [mostly] in areas where the separatist Kosovo Liberation Army had been active". The Journal concluded that "Nato stepped up its claims about Serb 'killing fields"' when it "saw a fatigued press corps drifting toward the contrarian story: civilians killed by Nato's bombs". This propaganda, said the newspaper, could be traced back to the KLA; many of the most lurid and prominently published atrocity reports attributed to refugees and other sources were untrue. "The war in Kosovo was cruel, bitter, savage," said the paper. "Genocide it wasn't." Such honesty was rare.

Nato bombed, according to George Robertson, the then defence secretary, "to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe" of mass expulsion and killing. In December, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe, whose monitors were in Kosovo until just before the bombing, released its report on the war. This received almost no publicity in Britain. It confirmed that most of the crimes against the Albanian population had taken place after the bombing began: that is, they were not a cause but a consequence of the Nato campaign.

Western gravediggers have found a total of 2,788 bodies, and not all of them war crimes victims. On 7 June this year, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) published a list of 3,368 missing persons whose names had been given to it by families from all communities in Kosovo, spanning January 1998 to mid-May this year. The ICRC says that a substantial number could be alive, among refugees scattered throughout Europe.

What is now beyond doubt is that the figures used by London and Washington, and by much of the media, were ludicrous inventions. The killings in Kosovo were despicable and tragic, but to equate them with genocide and the Holocaust is to mock the truth with profanity. With the exception of the Guardian, almost none of this has been reported in Britain. The Red Cross report was virtually ignored in this country. This is understandable; among the journalists who swallowed Nato's and their government's lies were the truly committed and triumphant, who wrote that "when the mass graves are opened, the opponents of this humanitarian war should apologise".

The defenceless population upon whom Nato's bombs rained down night after night, the 400 to 600 who died, blown up in crowded passenger trains and buses, in factories, television stations, libraries, old people's homes, schools and 18 hospitals, many cut to pieces by the RAF's thousands of "unaccounted for" cluster bombs which fragment into shrapnel, require an apology from the propagandists; because, as Nato's planners never tired of saying at their post-bombing seminars, without journalists "on board", they could never have pulled it off.

Robert Fisk, Britain's greatest war reporter, has called them sheep, gulled by professional manipulators. Take the bombing of the Belgrade TV headquarters and the murder of staff such as make-up ladies. Amnesty International, in a rare departure, called this "a deliberate attack on a civilian object, and as such constitutes a war crime". Shortly before the bombing, the Nato mouthpiece Jamie Shea had given a written assurance that the TV building would not be attacked.

With the media on board, Nato could go forth. At one "private preliminary review by Nato experts" of the bombing (reported in the Daily Telegraph), it was agreed that "any future operation by Nato is likelier to involve heavier, more ruthless attacks on civilian targets ..."

Having taken sides in what was a bitter but low-level civil war on the scale of Ireland in the 1970s, and having deliberately blocked a peaceful solution at the phoney Rambouillet "talks", Nato was able to finish off the west's "strategic concept" of destroying Yugoslavia - without recourse to the United Nations or international law. It was all based on a marriage of lies, thanks largely to those journalists who acted as the handmaidens of great and murderous power.

Kosovo is today, more than ever, a terror state, run by Mafia-style criminals with links to the KLA: the people who last year could call Robin Cook directly on their mobile phones.

More than 200,000 Serbs and Roma have since been driven out, with few headlines here. The Americans have built one of their biggest military bases in the world, Camp Bondsteel, which achieves a long-held strategic aim of Washington to straddle the Balkan transit routes. Stand by for their next humanitarian adventure.

WTF are u talking about. 3 000 is the number that's still missing. The number of dead people is around 15 000. Those 3 000 missing are burried in mass graves in Serbia and burned in industrial ovens in Serbia.

Kosovo assault 'was not genocide'

The court ruled there was no attempt to destroy the Albanian ethnic group
A United Nations court has ruled that Serbian troops did not carry out genocide against ethnic Albanians during Slobodan Milosevic's campaign of aggression in Kosovo from 1998 to 1999.
The controversial ruling by the UN-supervised Supreme Court in the Kosovan capital, Pristina, has angered Albanians, and some UN officials are reported to be preparing to challenge it.

The decision comes as authorities in Serbia begin the excavation of another mass grave believed to contain the bodies of around 50 Kosovar Albanians.

Four graves have already been investigated, revealing the remains of 340 victims.

UN 'unhappy'

The court, Kosovo's highest legal body, said there had been a "systematic campaign of terror, including murders, rapes, arsons and severe maltreatments".

Slobodan Milosevic has not yet been charged with genocide in Kosovo
Crimes against humanity and war crimes did take place, it said, but "the exactions committed by Milosevic's regime cannot be qualified as criminal acts of genocide, since their purpose was not the destruction of the Albanian ethnic group... but its forceful departure from Kosovo".

However the BBC's Paul Wood in Belgrade says that some UN legal officials are deeply unhappy and have begun a campaign to have the ruling overturned.

The decision was based on the 1948 Geneva convention which defines genocide as the intent "to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group as such".

Milosevic debate

The court, which is comprised of two international judges and one Albanian, was ruling on the case of a Serb, Miroslav Vuckovic, convicted of genocide by a district court in Mitrovica.

Excavations of mass graves have changed public opinion
International officials have raised concerns about the treatment of Serbs by Kosovo's Albanian dominated judiciary.

Mr Vuckovic's conviction has now been overturned and he will face a retrial in Mitrovica.

The decision is likely to reopen the debate on whether Slobodan Milosevic should face genocide charges at The Hague, where he already stands accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The tribunal is currently preparing indictments of genocide against Mr Milosevic in connection with atrocities carried out in Bosnia and Croatia.

Mass grave

Serbian authorities in the western Serbian town of Bajina Basta began on Thursday to excavate a mass grave thought to contain the bodies of Kosovo Albanians.

They are believed to have been transported out of the province in an attempt by Mr Milosevic to cover up atrocities and possible war crimes carried out during his campaign of terror.

Serbian police believe around 800 victims of the conflict in Kosovo have been buried around Serbian territory.

The gruesome revelations of the bodies are credited with changing public opinion in Serbia and increasing acceptance that war crimes were carried out under the Milosevic regime.

Kosova was occupied by Serbia in 1912. The opening of a Serbian seminary in Prizren in 1871 started a pronounced strengthening of the Serb presence in Kosovo culminating in Serbian reoccupation and control of Kosovo by 1912. Colonization began and continued since then until the late 60's.

With the Yugoslav constitution of 1974 and granting of a de facto self-government, Serbia gradually dropped its claims towards Kosovo.

In 1981, protests in Kosov@ scared the local serbs, who knowing that they do not belong there, began to sell the land that was GIVEN to them before 1974 and move back to Serbia.

When Milosevic came to power, he began his crusades and with the help of the government controlled media (the only media available at that time) convinced the Serbs that they have rights to Kosov@. This is when the term "Kosovo - cradle of Serbia" was heard for the FIRST TIME.

Anyway, to make the whole story short, Kosov@ was only a part of Yugoslavia from 1912 to 1999.

Serbia failed to ethnicaly cleanse Kosov@ from 1912 until now after many Memorandi of Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences and many crusades of Serbian army.

Now, thanks to the technology, Serbian crimes were finally exposed to the rest of the world, and as a result, Serbia will only shrink, not expand. The world does not reward criminals like it used when Mother Russia was stronger.

Lessons Learned from Kosovo?
written by: Rafael Biermann, 12-Oct-05

Kosovo is once again looming on the horizon. Finally, the international community is willing to cut through this Gordian knot, tackling the issue that it has eluded and negated for too long: The issue of the future legal status of Kosovo in relation to Serbia-Montenegro and Albania. This issue really is at the bottom of the whole Kosovo story since the bloody occupation by Serb forces during the first Balkan War in 1913. Since then, Serb and Yugoslav politicians tried all means – ranging from constitutional concessions and positive discrimination to colonization programs, overt expulsion and bloody oppression – to win the loyalty of the Albanian clans in Kosovo. It was in vain. Since Milosevic’s campaign of ethnic cleansing, which started already with the Drenica massacre in Febuary 1998 and NATO’s response in March 1999, there is no way to restore to the status quo ante. A new formula will have to be found.

Serb dude don't forget that Serbia had deals with Sadam and the Serb government officials are having dinner with the Iraninas nowadays.
There is an affinity between Serbia and anti-American regimes.
By the way is CNN owned by Arabs also cause they too reported a genocide in Kosova. So did Deutche Welle. Are they owned by arabs, you might know some insider information that the Serb government got from their Anti-American buddies.

15th century
1455: Turkish cadastral tax census (defter)[1] of the Brankovic dynasty lands (covering 80% of present-day Kosovo) recorded 480 villages, 13,693 adult males, 12,985 dwellings, 14,087 household heads (480 widows and 13,607 adult males). By ethnicity:
12,985 Serbian dwellings present in all 480 villages and towns
75 Vlach dwellings in 34 villages
46 Albanian dwellings in 23 villages
17 Bulgarian dwellings in 10 villages
5 Greek dwellings in Lauša, Vučitrn
1 Jewish dwelling in Vučitrn
1 Croat dwelling
[edit]
17th-18th century
The Great Turkish War of 1683-1699 between the Ottomans and the Habsburgs led to the flight of a substantial part of Kosovo's Serbian population to Austrian held Vojvodina and the Military Frontier. Following this an influx of Muslim Albanian[2] from the highlands (Malesi) occurred, mostly into Metohija. The process continued in 18th century[3].
[edit]
19th century
19th century data about the population of Kosovo tend to be rather conflicting, giving sometimes numerical superiority to the Serbs and sometimes to the Albanians. Many historians regard Ottoman statistics as being unreliable, as the empire counted its citizens by religion rather than nationality, using birth records rather than surveys of individuals.
A study in 1838 by an Austrian physician, dr. Joseph Müller found Metohija to be mostly Slavic (Serbian) in character.[4] Müller gives data for the three counties (Bezirke) of Prizren, Pec and Djakovica which roughly covered Metohija, the portion adjacent to Albania and most affected by Albanian settlers. Out of 195,000 inhabitants in Metohija, Müller found:
73,572 Orthodox Serbs 38%
5,120 Catholic Albanians 3%
2,308 other non-Muslims (Vlachs etc.)
114,000 Muslims (58%), of which:
c. 38,000 are Serbs (19%)
c. 76,000 are Albanians (39%)
Müller's observations on towns:
Peć: 11.050 Serbs, 500 Albanians
Prizren: 16,800 Serbs, 6150 Albanians
Đakovica: majority of Albanians, surrounding villages Serbian
Map published by French ethnographer G. Lejean[5] in 1861 shows that Albanians lived on around 57% of the territory of today's province while a similar map, published by British travellers G. M. Mackenzie and A. P. Irby[6] in 1867 shows slightly less; these maps don't show which population was larger overall.
A study done in 1871 by Austrian colonel Peter Kukulj[7] for the internal use of the Austro-Hungarian army showed that the mutesarifluk of Prizren (corresponding largely to present-day Kosovo) had some 500,000 inhabitants, of which:
318.000 Serbs (64%),
161.000 Albanians (32%),
10.000 Roma (Gypsies) and Circassians,
2.000 Turks
Miloš S. Milojević travelled the region in 1871-1877 and left accounts which testify that Serbs were majority population, and were predominant in all cities, while Albanians were minority and lived mostly in villages[8]. According to his data, Albanians were majority population in southern Drenica (Muslim Albanians), and in region around Djakovica (Catholic Albanians), while the city was majorly Serbian. He also recorded several settlements of Turks, Roma and Circassians.
It is estimated that some 400,000[9] Serbs were cleansed out of the Vilayet of Kosovo between 1876 and 1912, especially during the Greek-Turkish war of 1897.
Maps published by German historian Kiepert[10] in 1876, J. Hahn[11] and Austrian consul K. Sax[12], show that Albanians live on most of the territory of today's province, however they don't show which population is larger. According to these, the regions of Kosovska Mitrovica and Kosovo Polje were settled mostly by Serbs, whereas most of the terrirory of western and eastern parts of today's province was settled by Muslim Albanians.
An Austrian statistics[13] published in 1899 estimated:
182,650 Albanians (47.88%)
166,700 Serbs (43.70%)
Remaining 8.42% Tsintsars, Turks, Circassians, Roma and Jews
[edit]
20th century
British journalist H. Brailsford estimated[14] that two-thirds of the population of Kosovo was Albanian and one-third Serbian. The most populous western districts of Djakovica and Pec were said to have between 20,000 and 25,000 Albanian households, as against some 5,000 Serbian ones. Map of Alfred Stead[15], published in 1909, shows that similar numbers of Serbs and Albanians were living in the territory.
German scholar Gustav Weigand gave the following statistical data about the population of Kosovo in Ethnography of Macedonia (1924, written 1919), based on the pre-war situation in Kosovo in 1912:
Pristina District: 67% Albanians, 30% Serbs
Prizren District: 63% Albanians, 36% Serbs
Vucitrn District: 90% Albanians, 10% Serbs
Ferizovic (Urosevac) District: 70% Albanians, 30% Serbs
Gilani (Gnjilane) District: 75% Albanians, 23% Serbs
Mitrovica District: 40% Albanians, 60% Serbs
Metohija with the town of Djakovica is furthermore defined as almost exclusively Albanian by Weigand.

1968-1989: Autonomy
After the province gained autonomy, local provincial Statistical office given authority over census whereas the rest of the country's census was under the tutelage of the Federal Statistical Commission. Allegations of census rigging (for the 1971 and 1981) by Turk, Muslim and Roma minorities who claim forceful Albanization. Serb claims Albanians drastically overincreased their own numbers. Nothing could be substantiated though because the Kosovo Statistical offices were under exclusive Albanian control which was against the national norm at the time which dicated that census takers had to be of different nationalities (i.e. one Albanian and one Serb not both Albanian as was the case in the two following censa).
1971: 1,243,693 total inhabitants[30]
916,168 Albanians or 73.7%[31]
259,816 Serbs/Montengrins or 20.9%[32]

1989-1999: Centralized Yugoslav Control
Yugoslav Central Government reasserts control over Kosovo in 1989.
Official Yugoslav statistical results, almost all Albanians and some Roma, Muslims boyott the census following a call by Ibrahim Rugova to boycott Serbian institutions. 1991 359,346 Total population
214,555 Orthodox Serbs (194,190 Serbians and 20,365 Montenegrins)
9,091 Albanians (most boycotted)
57,758 (Slavic) Muslims
44,307 Roma
10,445 Turks
8,062 Croats (Janjevci, Letnicani)
3,457 Yugoslavs
Official Yugoslav statistical corrections and projections, with the help of previous census results (1948-1981):
1,956,196 Total population[35] (corrected from 359,346)
214,555 Orthodox Serbs (194,190 Serbians and 20,365 Montenegrins)
1,596,072 or 81,6 % Albanians (corrected from 9,091)
66,189 (Slavic) Muslims (corrected from 57,758)
45,745 Roma (corrected from 44,307)
10,445 Turks
8,062 Croats (Janjevci, Letnicani)
3,457 Yugoslavs
The corrections should not taken to be fully accurate. The number of Albanians is sometimes regarded as being an underestimate. On the other hand, it is sometimes regarded as an overestimate, being derived from earlier censa which are believed to be overestimates. The Statistical Office of Kosovo states that the quality of the 1991 census is "questionable." [36].
[edit]
1999-present: UN administration
During the Kosovo War in 1999, over 700,000 ethnic Albanians[37] and around 100,000 ethnic Serbs were forced out of the province to neighbouring Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Serbia. After the United Nations took over administration of Kosovo following the war, the vast majority of the Albanian refugees returned.
Many non-Albanians - chiefly Serbs and Roma - fled or were expelled, mostly to the rest of Serbia at the end of the war, with further refugee outflows occurring as the result of sporadic ethnic violence. The number of registered refugees is around 250,000[38][39][40]. The non-Albanian population in Kosovo is now about half of its pre-war total. The largest concentration of Serbs in the province is in the north, but many remain in Kosovo Serb enclaves surrounded by Albanian-populated areas.
Various, mostly Serbian, sources claim that a large number of Albanians (usually stated as being around 200,000) have moved into Kosovo since 1999, due to the complete liberalization of the Kosovo-Albania border. The veracity of this claim is unclear; the Statistical Office of Kosovo states that "there are at present no reliable statistics on migration in Kosovo."
2000 Living Standard Measurement Survey by Statistical Office of Kosovo (rejected by Belgrade[41]). Total population estimated at 1 900 000 est.[42]
88% Albanians (1,733,600)
7% Serbs (137,900)
3% Muslim Slavs (59,100)
2% Roma (39,400)
1% Turks (19,700)
The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) estimates the population at 2.0 to 2.2 million people, extrapolating from voter registration data recorded by the UNMIK Department of Local Administration in 2000. [43]
Some estimates by Albanian demographers estimate a population of 2.4 million Albanians living in Kosovo today. This is regarded by most independent observers as an overestimate as it would imply a total population of some 2.5-2.6 million people in Kosovo, much higher than other estimates.

Right?

Idiot Albanian was first used in the second century by Ptolemy of Alexandria.
There were no Serbs in the Balkans during that time and there wouldn't be for another 6 centuries. Now that is what paradise is like.
Your tirades are nothing but crappy Serb propaganda.

Now there is evidence that around 15 000 Albanians are dead and 3 000 still burried in mass graves in Serbia. And a lot burned in industrial ovens in Serbia, children included.

WOW!!!
In the second century BC, in the History of the World written by Polybius, there is mention of a city named Arbon in present day central Albania. The people who lived there were called Arbanios and Arbanitai. WOW THIS REALLY PROVES SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH 1 letter of these words begin with A holy shit AMERICA is ALBANIAN AS WELL!!!! HAHAHA SHITHEAD WHY DONT U MENTION THE FACT THAT IN THAT SAME CENTURY A COUNTRY NAMED ALBANIA ALBANIA ALBANIA ALREADY EXISTED IN WHAT IS TODAY AZERBIJAN, BAKU!!!! HAHAHA so here u draw a coorelation between the albaniacs of today with these people who came from a tribe that began with the letter A yet u disclaim an entire NATION NAMED ALBANIA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
again read it and weep idiots, ur origins are so unclear on any source becuase it shows u how insignifficant u have been in the face of history. bottom line who u r today was first mentioned in teh 12 century and who the serbs are in the 6th. GO BACK TO UR MOUNTAINS SHEEPFUCKERS

the modern Albanians were not mentioned in Byzantine chronicles until 1043, although Illyria was part of the Byzantine Empire, and since the Illyrians are referred to for the last time as an ethnic group in Miracula Sancti Demetri (7th century AD.), some scholars maintain that after the arrival of the Slavs the Illyrians were extinct. [3]
(see the Jireček Line) it is believed that most inhabitants of Illyria were Hellenized (the Southern part) and later Romanized (opponents say that some Illyrians were not Hellenized or Romanized, but maintained their own language, which may have been a proto-Albanian language). [4]
most Illyrian toponyms, hydronyms, names, and words have not been shown to be related to Albanian, and they do not indicate that Illyrians spoke a proto-Albanian language (opponents say that many of these toponyms, hydronyms and names are Hellenized and Romanized; whether the change in form is dramatic or not is hard to know in a number of cases).
ancient Illyrian toponyms (such as Shkoder from the ancient Scodra, Tomor from ancient Tomarus) were not directly inherited in Albanian, as their modern names do not correspond to the phonetic laws of Albanian [5]
a number of scholars believe that Illyrian was a Centum language, though others disagree. If Illyrian was Centum, then it is unlikely that Albanian (which is Satem) is an Illyrian language [6]

The fact that the word "Metohija" is used shows the true source of the information... lol

At least when you try to fabricate statistics, do not use words that only Serbs use.

Man you are a d.i.c.khead.

If you had fought the NAZIS then 95% of the Jews in Serbia would not be exterminated. This is loyalty to Hitler.

Here from the Helsinki charter
http://www.helsinki.org.yu/charter_text.php?lang=en&idteksta=1404
"This year marks the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade. Belgrade’s WW II victims included the following: already in 1942, it was the first city in Europe to be declared judenfrei – free of Jews; the city which patented the gas chamber, the infamous truck-mounted chambers, used to gas the Jews on route from Sajmiste to Avala, to be buried in Jajinci. About 68 thousand people were buried in Jajinci. There are places in Belgrade where inconceivable executions took place. One of them is the Sajmiste camp, which has only one sign indicating that, and that is all…”, said Dr. Branka Prpa, director of Belgrade Archives.
The dry language of statistics and numbers reveals that during WW II 14,500 of the total number of 16,000 Serbian Jews perished, accounting for 90 percent of the population living on the territory of Serbia in April 1941. The predicament of 12,000 Belgrade Jews was similar. By mid-May 1942, the extermination of Jewish families was complete.
The agility and efficiency demonstrated in killing the Jews in Serbia were emphasized and commended at a conference of Hitler’s top operatives held at Wansse lake in early 1942: Belgrade Jews became the victims of a new, “economic” means for mass liquidation – truck-mounted gas chambers… That is where a wide-scope action on all territories under German occupation was considered – the “last stage” in “solving the Jewish problem”."

Here from the source you like so much, wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chetniks
"The Chetnik collaboration with Germans and Italians did exist. In Serbia, a new pro-Nazi government was first established under the leadership of Milan Asimovic and later under former Minister of War General Milan Nedic which governed until 1945. Nedic supported Hitler and met with him in 1943. This new government established even harsher racial laws than Prince Paul had enacted and immediately established three concentration camps for Jews, Gypsies and others. Nedic formed his own paramilitary storm troops known as the State Guard. The Guard was comprised of former members of the Chetniks which had existed as an all-Serbian para-military police force under King Alexander and Prince Paul to enforce loyalty from non-Serbian members of the armed forces. When Yugoslavia disintegrated, one faction of Chetniks swore allegiance to the new Serbian Nazi government. Another group remained under the pre-war leader Kosta Pecanac who openly collaborated with the Germans. A third Chetnik faction followed the Serbian Fascist Dimitrije Ljotic. Ljotic's units were primarily responsible for tracking down Jews, Gypsies and Partisans for execution or deportation to concentration camps. By August 1942 the Serbian government would proudly announce that Belgrade was the first city in the New Order to be Judenfrei or "free of Jews."

About the Turks. Here's something:
http://www.wumag.kiev.ua/index2.php?param=pgs20044/74

One of the unexpected results of the Ottoman expansion was an active penetration of Slavic ethnics into the Ottoman armed forces (Janissaries) and even into the ruling elite. Serbians were particularly numerous and the Serbian language could be heard in the Ottoman court; it was used in official documents alongside with Turkish. The Italian historian Paolo Giovio who compiled a book on Turkish history, wrote: “At the court [of Suleyman The Magnificent] several languages are spoken. Turkish is the language of the ruler; Arabic is the language of the Muslim Law, Koran; Slavic (sclavonica) is mostly used by the Janissaries, and Greek is the language of the populace of the capital and other cities of Greece.”

The Polish traveller Strijkowskij wrote that in 1574, when he was in Istanbul, he heard with his own ears kobzari (bards) singing songs in Serbian in the streets and in the taverns about victories of valiant Muslims over the Christians.

Bassano, an Italian visitor to Suleyman’s court, claimed that “he [the sultan] respected and highly valued his wife [Roxolana] and understood her native language to some extent.” One of the sultan’s viziers was Rustem-pasha, a Serb or a Croat.

Ukraine, except for some areas and not for long, was never conquered by the Ottomans but it became a steady source of supplies of white slaves to the empire. The Crimean Tartars were the main suppliers. Mykhailo Lytvyn, a Ukrainian diplomat in the service of the Lithuanian government, wrote in his memoirs dating to 1548–1551 that the krymchaky (Crimean Tartars) engaged only in two trades — cattle-breeding and capturing Ukrainians to be sold to the Ottomans as slaves. “The ships that often come to their ports from across the sea, bring weapons, clothes and horses which are exchanged for slaves who are loaded into these ships. And all the Ottoman bazaars are full of these slaves who are sold and bought to be used in the households, to be resold, to be given as presents… There was one Jew, amazed at the great numbers of these slaves to be seen at the slave markets, who asked whether there were any people left in the land where these slaves are brought from.”

It so typical that the albanians would side and defend the nazis again and try to make it look as if the Serbs killed the Jews in Belgrade. Truly sickening, there has to be some type of collective brainwashing going on in Kosovo where lies are taken as the truth (example from a previous albanian post that said "prior to ww2 Belgrade was Juden free" truly sicking it is the way the the Albanians always lie about just about anything (ex.: being Illirian or about how u did not love the Turks while 70% of the officers in the Ottoman empire were Albanians and u took their religion or lieing about the Serbs killing 500,000 Albanians) serious identity issues.

The Jewish communities of Serbia and northern Greece, including the 50,000 Jews of Salonika, fell under direct German occupation in April 1941 and bore the full weight and intensity of Nazi repressive measures from dispossession, humiliation, and forced labor to hostage taking, and finally deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau and extermination in March-August 1943.

Turning to the beggining. I didn`t know that Balshajt did use that emblem. Very telling. Do you know, by the way, that in Kruja used to live a very strong Jewish community? During the time of Sabatai Zvi.
However, as for the eagle, one of the interpretation that comes from Heraldica Hebrea (Jewish Heraldry) is this one: one of the head represents the past and the other the future. SO THE EAGLE, AS AN EMBLEM, SYMBOLISES THE CONTINUATION.
I think it makes sense!

"SOUTHEAST EUROPEAN TIMES

Serbian restaurant adds new flavour to Tirana
07/10/2005
Pljeskavica -- a mixture of lamb and beef, grilled with onions and served hot on thick pita -- was just one of the traditional Serbian dishes offered at an outdoor restaurant in the heart of Albania's capital during the summer. The venture's success is being heralded as another signal of growing economic ties".

"Milisav Surovic, 40, left Belgrade to run the Tirana business, directing a group of twelve Serbs. He speaks no Albanian, but an Albanian from Montenegro helps him run the restaurant.

"Our specialty is the pljeskavica. Traditionally pljeskavica is made with a mixture of lamb and beef, grilled along with onions and served hot on thick pita bread. But we also offer a variety of our traditional dishes," Surovic said.

Mouthwatering isn't it?
Serbs can cook too...WOW!

Now that Serb scumbag can see that we don't discriminate based on nationallity. They're allowed to sell whatever they want in the streets of Tirana.

As for the Jews, if Serbs hadn't collaborated with the Jews then 95% of them wouldn't be sloughtered instead it would be like Albania who hade a larger popullation of Jews after the war then before the war. This is the real resistence, the protection of the innocent Jews knowing that such protection could result in your own death and the death of your family members. If you want I could recommend you some books written by Jewish people about their salvation in Albanian lands.

Anonymous said...

If I lived in Tirana, I wouldn't eat in a Serbian restaurant.

Very simple, Serbs cannot be trusted!

"The wolf changes his coat, but not his disposition."

That's up to you but as we can see nobody in Tirana during the whole summer never tried to violate them simply cuz they were Serbs.

Alleged Bin Laden Associate Assets Frozen

20 September 2005 | 13:03 | FOCUS News Agency

Tirana. The Bush administration moved Monday to financially incapacitate a man who allegedly worked with Osama bin Laden and others to provide support to terror networks in Albania, AP announced.
The Treasury Department ordered U.S. banks to freeze any bank accounts or other financial assets found in this country belonging to Abdul Latif Saleh, who holds Jordanian and Albanian citizenship. The order also prohibits Americans from doing business with him.
According to the department bin Laden provided Saleh with USD 600,000 to encourage the creation of "extremist groups" in Albania, the Macedonan Makfax reports. Saleh is also believed to be closely associated with groups in Albania with links to the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, a terror group connected to al-Qaida, the department said.
Saleh founded an Albanian jihadist group that has been bankrolled by the Al Haramain Foundation, an Islamic charity with alleged links to al-Qaida, the Treasury Department said.
He also is believed to be associated with Yasin Qadi, a Saudi businessman, that the United States designated as a global terrorist in October 2001. The department said Qadi was an active fund-raiser for Saleh's jihadist group.
The department said that Saleh was expelled from Albania and that his last known residence was in the United Arab Emirates.
