Burns in Kosovo to clear the ground for talks

“My trip to Kosovo was devised to prepare the ground for talks and to make efforts with the parties involved to have them enter the talks in a good mood and goodwill,” said US Under Secretary Nicholas Burns ahead of his scheduled visit to Kosovo. Burns said he will tell Kosovo leaders that USA will be fully involved in talks for final status and that it will have an envoy appointed for these talks. The paper reports that the US diplomat will also meet the Kosovo negotiation team while in Kosovo.
