NATO and Kosovo Police Service in a joint riot-control exercise

'Rioters' face off against NATO-led peacekeepers and members of the Kosovo Police Service in a joint riot-control exercise at NATO Camp Vrelo, 20 km (12 miles) south of the Kosovo capital Pristina, October 5, 2005. United Nations special envoy Kai Eide has submitted a report on Kosovo to Secretary-General Kofi Annan that diplomats say will trigger talks on the fate of Serbia's U.N.-run province. Don't you think they are helping the Kosov@ police so it will be able to deal with any security issue in an independent Kosov@?

PRISTINA, Serbia-Montenegro, Oct 5 (AFP) - NATO said its Kosovo forces
(KFOR) staged a military exercise Wednesday in order to show they are ready to deal with any potential conflict in the disputed province.

Some 400 peacekeepers took part in the operation, designed to respond to riots or other violence that threatens to flare in the province run by the UN and NATO since Kosovo's 1998-1999 war, the alliance said.

"This is a warning for those who are opposed to peace and stability in Kosovo that NATO is ready, willing and able to fulfill its mandate," said KFOR's Italian commander Giuseppe Valotto.

According to the Italian KFOR commander they are ready for another March 2004.

My question is why would KFOR have to demonstrate its strength to the ethnic albanians if Kosovo and Metohija receives independence?

Crossfire War: Malaysian Groups Radicalize Islamic Communities in Macedonia
By Willard Payne

Night Watch: SKOPJE - For the past 2 years Malaysians, in groups of 10-20 have been passing through Macedonia, offering influence, directions and cash to villagers in some of the country's most isolated areas and in the capital Skopje and Tetovo.

When they arrive at Petrovec, Skopje International Airport, they say they are tourists and leave after a couple of weeks. But an official observed, "But when they stop here, they bring money and instructions." Officials in Kosovo have made the same observations..."they are offering payment to those villagers who grow their beards long, who completely veil the women etc. So it seems the people supporting this are associated with these radical Wahhabi and Salafi sects."

As their influence increases so will the control of the Balkans by Islamic capitals, Ankara-Riyadh-Tehran. Foreign Islamists are no strangers to the area and there is a definite Balkan connection to the Madrid and London bombings.

There is at least one known case where Kuala Lumpur hosted planning for a major terrorist attack, the al-Qaeda (Iran) January 2000 meeting that was attended by two of the 9/11 hijackers, the Saudi Khalid Almidhar and Nawaf Alhazmi. The meeting also planned the attack on the U. S. S. Cole off Yemen on Oct. 12, 2000. It was held in the hotel room of Yazid Sufaat, a former army captain and businessman in Kuala Lumpur Hotel. The meeting was from January 5-8, 2000.

With Malaysia being a modern, apparently moderate nation, providing stable banking networks and internet access, it is an idea place for planning and has long attracted Arabs. Beneath the facade of moderation is a very real support network for the Jihad. Attacks against Thailand are known to have been planned here and Malaysia is at the center of the Islamic world's acquiring nuclear weaponry.

"My question is why would KFOR have to demonstrate its strength to the ethnic albanians if Kosovo and Metohija receives independence?"

Cause Serbia is right across the border.

KFOR has been corresponding with the Serbian military for months and coordinating joint military exercises with them.

How can Serbia start RIOTS within Kosovo you moran?

These are riot control exercises!!

This is very simple...

They are preparing to handle the Serb rioters after the Independence is recognized.

"What are you going to do by this time next year, when you will need a visa to go to Kosova, to visit your uncle, that is living in a small shack, eating bread and water, because he refuses to cooperate, and can't buy food from serbia because the tarifs are way to hi. Call us what ever you want, because we don't care, this time the international community is not going to make the same mistake twice."

The international community can see clearly what albanians are all about...and this post explains why Kosovo is occupied, will continue to be and why Serbs live behind barbed wire. Shameful albanian nazis.

Hey Numb Nuts 8:33 Poster,

Who makes that claim "Balgrade was the first capital in Europe to be declared frew of Jews"?

Secondly, it is Belgrade and free.

Maybe you should go ask your 21st Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Skanderbeg (1st Albanian) brethren about your comment.

While you are at it, dont waste you time posting crap like you do, try getting an education and make something of yourself, if possible.

These say it.

Here's one link the Serb bloggers like so much. They say its the best encyclopedia ever.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chetnik
By August 1942 the Serbian government would proudly announce that Belgrade was the first city in the New Order to be Judenfrei or "free of Jews."

Here's another one. This is from the Helsinki charter
http://www.helsinki.org.yu/charter_text.php?lang=en&idteksta=1404

“This year marks the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade. Belgrade’s WW II victims included the following: already in 1942, it was the first city in Europe to be declared judenfrei – free of Jews; the city which patented the gas chamber, the infamous truck-mounted chambers, used to gas the Jews on route from Sajmiste to Avala, to be buried in Jajinci. About 68 thousand people were buried in Jajinci. There are places in Belgrade where inconceivable executions took place. One of them is the Sajmiste camp, which has only one sign indicating that, and that is all…”, said Dr. Branka Prpa, director of Belgrade Archives.

I'll post others soon.

While you're at it educate yourself. Albania was the only sountry in Europe to have a higher population of Jews after the war than before it.

BULLSHIT.

Serbia was the first country to rise up against the Nazi's in that region. Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnian muslims and Albanians we're either on their side or did not have the will to fight them. So fuck off and don't insult the hundreds of thousands of Serbs, Jews and Gypsies that died at the hands of the nazi's you asshole.
