Kosovo police officer says he was not attacked by Serbs

Text of report in English by Belgrade-based Radio B92 text website on 4 October

Urosevac, 4 October: A senior officer in the Kosovo Police Service said today that he doubts the authenticity of a claim that a Serbian extremist group calling itself the Tigers was responsible for an attack on him last week.

Colonel Dejan Jankovic said that the document which has appeared in public claiming that the "Tigers" were responsible for shooting him in the arm during an attack on his vehicle last week was an attempt to mislead investigators.

Jankovic says he does not believe that a Serbian group was responsible for the attack.

"The document is full of grammatical and spelling errors," he said, adding that he believed it had been written by an Albanian. In addition, said Jankovic, the document put the date of the attack as September 29 when in fact it had occurred a day earlier.

Jankovic says that he believes that he had been targeted for the attack as the only senior Serb officer in the Kosovo Police Service.

Some said Serbs committed terrorist attacks against Serbs to attribute these acts to Albanians. We can observe this was separatist propaganda.

The ministry of Education of Serbia said that 50% of the Serbs do not make it past the 8th grade. I wouldn't be surprised to see gramatical errors from people that do not make it past the 8th grade.

He was talking about the albanians that live in Serbia.

Anonymous said...

Why would he call Albanian Serbs. He was talking about Serbs.

Anonymous said...

Why do they call serbs in Bosnia, Bosnian Serbs and not just Serbs?

Anonymous said...

What are you asking dude? Never heard from any Serb calling the Albanians of Kosova -->Serbs. I've heard them calling them anything else but Serbs. Thus when any Serb official mentions the word Serb its always about Serbs. Thus what the misinister of education states is only related to Serbs.
There is no such thing as the Albanian Serbs or the other way around the Serb Albanians. There are all kinds of things in the world only those two do not exist.

...more reading of albanians in denial..what is so interesting is that no albanians who post here will consider the fact that Serbs don't have to perpetrate violence in Kosovo. They can rely on the albanians for that--without fail.

What are armed Serb secret service men doing in Kosova then, when the UN resolution forbids them from entering.

Anonymous said...

If you would tortute the captured Serb infiltraitors they would probably tell who did it and what is the purpose of their visit. All I know is that Serbs are capable of such things.

Anonymous said...

You say you want to torture Serbs? This is your human rights. This is the proof you are not democrats. You are a minority in Serbia (Kosovo is in Serbia). For peace in Kosovo it is necessary to destroy terrorism, not serbian police. Nato must leave the Kosmet. Serbia, FYROM and Greece can collaborate against terrorism because they know very well the Balkans. People of the region need some supports but not the "support" of United States. They bring on wars and they are occupators. Nikos.

Hey those Serb secret service officers tried to destabilize Kosova. Anyways they're under the supervision of KFOR so there's no $hit we can do.

As for Greeks and Serbs with their Anti-Americanism they remind me of Afghanis, of Osama, of terrorists all over the world. You have that in common and plenty of other things.

Kosova Police needs weapons and an intelligence/counter-intelligence agency. Until then, everything said is in a highly theoretical level.

I was considering commenting here but article #443 of the Flaming Guide says
4. Never respond to clinical insanity - chances are you cannot help, and you risk a life-long relationship

Silence can be golden!

What advantage would the Serbians get from attacking there own and then taking credit for it? would it be easier to just say nothing and let the assumptions run wild?

Anonymous said...

Or then they can write a "bad gramar" note that they did it, deny it, and blame Albanians even more efficiently...

Smart folks you Serbs...

Kind of scary for those albanians that Serbian soldiers are in Kosovo. You are tellingme that UNMIK had no idea that they were there. Do you still not believe that the Serbian Army, UNMIK and NATO aren't working together?

Anonymous said...

Work with Serbs?

Probably but out of necessity. But that doesn't mean there will be no independence.

3 Serbian soldiers were found on Kosovo and Metohija soil, how many haven't been found? The Serbian Military Commander in Pristina for to welcome the new UNMIK military commander will the ethnic albanian leadership hide under their desks.
UNMIK turning their backs for these soldiers to enter Kosovo and Metohija. All these actions point to the direction of no idependence.

Anonymous said...

...all it points to is that those other than albanians in kosovo know that albanians can't be trusted. Those serb policemen were probably working for kfor and nato.

Strasbourg. "According to the EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana EU should take control over the activity of the police forces in Kosovo, AP reports. At the session of the EU Parliament Solana underlined that application of the “Bosnia scenario” in Kosovo would be applicable, the agency adds.
Kosovo is under UN jurisdiction since 1999. The NATO peacekeeping forces are monitoring the security in the region since then. Kosovo police was formed 6 years ago and is 7,000 servicemen strong now."

Bosnia scenario is a good thing: Kosovo can be divided in two equal parts, so everybody can be satisfy. The best solution will be after the leaving of NATO-Pact a new police by French Gendarmerie. They know very well their job and France is neutral.

Why terrorists (i think you call them "Shiptars", tell me please)kill the Roms? Europe cannot accept this kind of racism. What about the Roms in Kosovo? I heared they have good relations with Serbs.

Three ethnic Albanians charged for desecrating Serb cemetery

Released : Oct 04, 2005 11:16 AM

BELGRADE, Serbia-Montenegro-A prosecutor in southern Serbia charged three ethnic Albanians on Tuesday for allegedly desecrating a Serb cemetery earlier this year.

The local prosecutor in Vranje, about 220 kilometers (135 miles) southeast of Belgrade, charged the three with fueling ethnic and racial hatred, reported the official Tanjug news agency.

The three, including a minor, face up eight years in prison if convicted. They are accused of destroying several graveside monuments at the Serb cemetery in the ethnically mixed village of Rajinac in February.

Rajinac is located in an ethnically tense region bordering Kosovo.

[As we can see these shiptar terrorists kill the deaths].

what is it with the shiptar obsession with death? they even attack dead Serbs? SICK!

Anonymous said...

Of course they can arrest Albanians in Presheva Valley and charge them for anything they want. They're defensless in Serbia. That was what the Serbs were doing to Kosovar Albanians until 5 years ago. The current Kosovar Albanian prime ministers spent plenty of years in Serbian jails.

You can also post that article where a Serb soldier was punished with 1 year in prision for killing a 12 year Albanian boy. You get more years for killing a dog in democratic countries.
Serbs are the personification of death, they bring death everywhere.

Anonymous said...

I guess they don't need jails in kosovo since albanians never committ crimes.

Tell that to the Western Europeans that ethnic albanians call home.

Anonymous said...

The Serb soldier is jailed for not following the proper procedure. The albanian boy broke the law by not cross the border at the legal crossing and deserved what ever he got.

Why is this site so concerned with Serbia? Why don't you discuss Albania - your own country?

This site is purely set up as an exremist Albanian propaganda and hate fueling portal. Is a sad site that is essentially trash.

You extremists need to get this into your heads ...

Serbia is now on the path of joining the European Union. It will be accepted as a democratic country. Albania (your country in case you forgot) will never be part of the EU.

Anonymous said...

Yea kill those Albanian 12 year old boys that break the law. Serbian mentallity.

This is about our country, Kosova. You have nosy Serbs from Serbia that provoke people

One thing to say about Albanians is that they are greedy and always have been. Serbs have been oppressed in former Yugoslavia for a long ass time. Why don't you just open your eyes a little. Look at the map of Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia. Notice how Croata has all the land by the sea and where Bosnia is. That was the work of that Croat Tito. Back to albanians.. Serbs had a 10 percent cut off there pay check (before the Bih wars even happened) and did not even know it. Where did that 10 percent go to? Albanian schools, hospitals and so forth. Also before the war serbs in bosnia and serbia were forced to sell there homes for dirt cheap to albanians. Anyways who cares about that, thats in the past. Look whats going on right now, i cannot even go back to Sanski Most in Bosnia because of Muslims and Kosovo is almost inhabitable because of them. There will be another war soon i garauntee it.
