Koha carries an interview with EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Javier Solana who said that status talks will depend on whether there is a positive assessment of Standards implementation but added he does not know what the outcome of status talks will be. ‘I don’t have a crystal ball to see what will happen in the future but I think everything should be done in a spirit of co-operation between the members of Contact Group, UN and EU’, said Solana.
Speaking about Belgrade’s position with regard to processes in Kosovo, Solana said that he believed there is an evolution process in the relation between the leaders in Belgrade and Pristina.
The EU official also noted that the border between Kosovo and FYROM will be demarcated after definition of Kosovo status.
