Zëri and Koha Ditore quote Prime Minister Kosumi as saying that he would engage [so that] Kosovo [would] be a fully independent state and not a state with conditional independence. Kosumi made these remarks after a meeting with a European Parliament delegation.
‘I don’t think there should be conditional independence. In fact we will work in creating a perfect society because we are taking the initial steps towards creating a state,’ added Kosumi.
The dailies quote the head of the European Parliament delegation as saying that he supports the idea of conditional independence for Kosovo. ‘I have made this proposal two years ago and I believe this is the best way to move forward,’ said Lagendijk.
