A Serb resident of a village in Kamenice municipality has turned in voluntarily his weapons, the Gjilan regional police announced.

The police appreciated his readiness, saying that this should be pursued by other citizens who possess illegal weapons.

"A citizen from Serb community called the police and informed that he was going to turn in voluntarily some weapons. He gave the police an AK-47, an M-48 and 513 bullets of different calibres," the spokesperson for the police, Naser Ibrahimi, told KosovaLive.
