Vushtrri [Vucitrn], 8 April: The Kosova [Kosovo] Protection Corps [TMK] is to begin today the action for returning of Ashkali [Albanian-speaking Muslims related to Roma] families to their reconstructed houses in the municipality of Vushtrri. Ashkali's houses have been damaged during the March riots last year.

According to an agreement reached earlier with the municipal authorities, a number of TMK troops have been dislocated [as received] to Ashkali neighbourhood one month ago. Their dislocation was made following the request of Ashkali families.

Some 4,000 persons have been displaced due to the March violence, and many houses were either damaged or burned down.

The most part of those houses have been reconstructed with the funds allocated from Kosova budget.
