Prishtina [Pristina], 6 April: The head of the Serb List for Kosova [Kosovo] and Metohija [SLKM], Oliver Ivanovic, told KosovaLive today that they are thinking of return to the institutions of Kosova, because this is the only way.

However he said that in case they decide to return, they would request recomposition of the government first.

Commenting [on] yesterday's statement of Prime Minister Bajram Kosumi warning that he is not going to wait for long for the SLKM to decide to join the institutions, Ivanovic said, "Kosumi has no alternative for Serbs, otherwise he would not have waited even for a single day."

Months ago the Kosova Assembly has elected the head of Serbia Citizens Initiative, Slavisa Petkovic, in the post of minister of returns and communities, but his election was opposed by Ivanovic and Belgrade officials.

"Regardless of Kosumi's call, we are thinking of return to the institutions of Kosova, because this is the only way. Of course we are seeking the ways to be in the position to work and find solutions to our problems, as well as not to be defeated in political aspect," Ivanovic said.

As for joining to the institutions of Kosova, Ivanovic said that they will take decision themselves and that Belgrade can give its assistance to this end.

He did not rule out the possibility they remain in opposition, if no agreement with Prime Minister Kosumi is reached.

Prime Minister Bajram Kosumi is waiting the SLKM to nominate their member in the post of the minister of agriculture forestry and rural development, which is reserved for the Serb community representatives.
