U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasian Affairs DiCarlo: No Division of Kosovo in two Entities

U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasian Affairs Rosemary A. DiCarlo visited Macedonia today. The senior U.S. official excluded on Thursday any possibility that Kosovo can be divided on two entities and that the borders in the region can be changed.

Can some one clarify this, does he exclude 'that the borders in the region can be changed'

What bordered does he recoginise, Yugoslavia/Serbia that we see in most of Western media. Or is he talking Kosova's borders.

Very tricky wording and comment

Kosovar2006, nice catch! But, I think these declaration are coming more as a response to the serbian proposal (threat!) that if Kosova gets its independence then Bosnia will be devided and the serbian entity with join Serbia.
Hmmm, after loosing all these wars, I really don't think serbs have any power to threat anyone anymore. Well, they can jumble and scramble as much as they want, the end result is clear. We WILL be INDEPENDENT by this time next year.
Until then, and after, we have to put all our energy to create a functional economy and a stable democracy.

Actually, it's a warning message to the Montenegrans not to screw up the Kosovo negotiations by going for independence themselves, at least not at this point.
