Despite invitations to participate in the parliamentary election forwarded by representatives of the international community, Kosovo institutions and Serb President Boris Tadic, the anti-election committee continues to hold protest rallies calling on Serbs not to go to the polls on October 23.#L# Close to 2,000 people protested in the northern Serb-dominated part of Mitrovinca on Wednesday, calling on Serbs not to go to the polls. They criticised Serbian President Tadic for "breaking up the Serb unity" by calling on Kosovo Serbs to vote. The protesters demanded autonomy in Serb-populated towns and asked that the Serbian government's plan be the foundation for the solving of problems in Kosovo.
