Miraculous Chronicles of the Night is being published in Belgrade by a former associate of the author.The book - set in 1980s Yugoslavia - is partly autobiographical, publisher Miroslav Toholj said. It reached him "through secret channels", he added.The wife of former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic, currently on trial in The Hague, also has a new book out.Mirjana Markovic's latest volume is a collection of interviews.Historical novelMr Karadzic was a poet and writer before becoming leader of the Bosnian Serbs in the early 1990s. He says he got the book "through secret channels as a computer disk".The launch comes on the day a book by former Yugoslav President Milosevic's wife, Mirjana Markovic, is being published - also in Belgrade.Entitled simply Keep this Book, it is a collection of interviews she gave between 1999 and 2003.Mrs Markovic is believed to be living in Moscow.She is wanted by the Serbian authorities on charges of abuses of power.She is also suspected of involvement in the murder of a former president of Serbia, Ivan Stambolic.
