It was not an attack at the UN mission - Kosovo Police Spokesman

PRISTINA, Serbia-Montenegro - One person was injured in a strong blast that occured late Friday near the headquarters of the UN Kosovo mission in downtown Pristina, a local police spokesman said.

The explosion, whose cause had not yet been determined, occurred arround 9:30 pm (2030 GMT), the spokesman Refki Morina told AFP by telephone, stressing "but I think it was not an attack at the UN mission". UN and local police blocked the centre of Pristina following the blast.
