Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, who is in the Pec Patriarchy today, has wished believers a merry Christmas.
"Today is a big holiday, the day of Christ's birth, Christmas. It is being celebrated with great love and hope in all parts of our country and all around the world where our people live, and it is being celebrated here in an especially moving manner, with renewed hope at the Pec Patriarchy, in Kosovo-Metohija," Kostunica said.
The premier said that Christmas was a holiday of hope.
"When I say hope, I mean peace and love which we need so much. That is why I wish a happy Christmas above all to our people in Kosovo-Metohija, and to those who celebrate today's holiday with the old holiday message `Christ is born'," Kostunica said.
