Buckovski: Kosovo will be independent (Zëri)
In an interview with La Libre Belgique, FYROM Prime Minister Vlado Buckovski was quoted as saying, “I am realistic. I am certain that Kosovo will be independent. In the beginning there will certainly be independence with conditions. At the same time, Serbia will benefit from the agreement on Stabilisation and Association.”

Finally, politicians in Macedonia are speaking rationally (in public). Only if the Serbian politicians could understand the reality everything would be better.
They just recognized "reality". In reality, Serbia and Macedonia, just like Albania, don't have a say on the status. If you can't beat it, then you join it (with an exception, you know who I have in mind). That way at least the post-independence bilateral relations will be better.
As a Macedonian I am all for Kosovas independance. But like many other Macedonians in Macedonia, including the Albanian minority in Macedonia, we find it offensive to see Kosovareport or anyone else use the term "FYROM". You would think that starting a friendly relationship as neighbors you would simply refer to us as Macedonia. I have many Albanian friends in Macedonia who despise seeing the term FYROM,so if not for the majority do it for your kinsmen to call us Macedonians.
Ivan,Macedonia
Generally we don't have a problem with calling it Macedonia. Most of the News here are taken from international News Agencies so my guess is that the name used in this article doesn't represent the political views of whoever is behind Kosovareport.
The names are Kosova and Macedonia, respectively!
To me Macedonia has always been Macedonia, Ivan.
Albanians have never taken issue with your countries name.
What we have taken issue with, however, is with the fact that it took you and your country 10 years and a War to realize that we were also living there with you, side by side!
Macedonia still lingers under Serbia's influence but I think that the current Macedonian leadership is sobering up to todays reality.
I can remind you of one thing Ivan. I was a refugee in Macedonia during the NATO bombing, and I was treated like absolute trash by the Macedonian police and the Macedonian people. I will never forget that and I just thought you should know too!
Sincerely yours, Prince of Albania.

right "Mr.PRINCE", i know uer not a real prince..ive never heard a prince being a refugee but nice secrete-mysterious name
Ivan,
the FYROM that appears here is obviously taken from foreign news agencies. Nobody in Kosova uses FYROM, not even the politicians. Among other reasons, we understand that is because of Greek pressure, and when it comes to Greece, we may be on the same boat.
I honestly think that Macedonians and Albanians have more in common then any other nations in the Balkans (lik history etc.). That is why I don't understand why there is so much hate against Albanians. And why Macedonians were on the Serbian side morally during the war.
The state of Skopje is FYROM and not Macedonia. Macedonia is the name of Northern province of Greece. We Greeks we don't support false independance of Kosovo but autonomia.
