The meeting of the prime ministers, which will take place tomorrow, was preceded by a meeting of foreign ministers. The ministers discussed the possible signing of a regional free trade agreement to replace the current 32 bilateral agreements. They also agreed on the need to fund the main [road] corridors, such as the fourth, sixth, and 10th corridors. No mention of the eighth corridor was made.

The meeting paid special attention to the question of Kosova [Kosovo], which was represented by President Fatmir Sejdiu and Soren Jessen-Petersen, chief administrator. At the meeting the countries of the region expressed their support for Kosova's independence and for the settlement of the status being a product of consensus and talks among the parties.

Albanian Foreign Minister Besnik Mustafaj had meetings with Greek Foreign Minister Bakoyannis, the representative of Austria's EU presidency, Chief Administrator Petersen, and the Japanese foreign minister. "Its sad to see a country FROY be in its current position when at one time it was envied by other eastern European countries. Now we're all behind and in worse condition then everyone. Albanians, Bosnians, Croatians, and Serbs.

Grow up and look at reality!"

Croatia is well on its way to the EU. Once and for all it's returning to its rightful place in Europe. Major commentators (aside from German-speakers in the EU) such as Misha Glenny no longer consider it a Balkan country--and for good reason. The Croats won their war and then quickly set to rebuild--which they continue to do till this day; can't see any one from the south-east picking a fight with them lol. They're simply too busy looking forward.

Good luck Balkanistas!
