Milosevic could serve his time in Russia

Several dailies have picked up an article by the London newspaper ‘Sunday Times’, which says that Americans and the British have agreed that former Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic, charged with war crimes, could be transferred to Russia to serve his sentence there.

According to the paper Milosevic will be closer to his wife, Mirjana, his brother Borislav and his son Marko.

The news that Milosevic may be allowed preferential treatment in Russia – traditionally an Orthodox ally of Serbia – has angered the families of his regime’s many victims. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Kosovo have reacted against this decision, writes Koha Ditore.

The paper quotes Kosovo Government’s spokesperson, Daut Dauti, as opposing the decision of Milosevic serving his time in Russia.

‘The Government is against transferring of Milosevic to Russia, as it is known that this state is an ally of the accused and, while serving his time in Russia, he will have a different treatment from what Milosevic deserves’, says Dauti.

Zëri quotes Munira Subasic, from the Movement of Srebrenica’s and Zepa’s Mothers as saying that she and other war widows would be double victims if Milosevic was to be sent to Russia to serve his time.

Slobodan Milosevic is facing charges of 66 counts of crimes against humanity, violation of rules of war in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo and of genocide in Bosnia.

That is not true by any account. Serbs despise him. Period.

who are you exactly referring to?

Last time I checked it wasnt the Communist party that was in controll of the parliment. Infact, The US has restarted the aid back to Serbia, which would not have been possible if the Communists allied to Milosevic were in power.

He is tacking about the Radical Party of Serbia which was allied with Milosevic during 90s. I am glad you pointed out that Communists are not in control of the Serbian Parliament. It is rather neo Nazis who are a majority, which is worst then Communists.
The reality is that Serb people brought down a Communist (Milosevic) Government and attempted to replace it with a neo Nazi party.
The subject of this discussion was whether Milosevic should be send to Russia to spent his jail time or not. Instead you talk about your fictional “Albanian Terrorists and Islamists". As most of the world knows, there is no such thing as an Albanian Islamist. Regarding the London bombing, I would like to point out that there seems to be some kind of connection with Balkans. The connection, however, has to do with the kind of explosives used by the terrorists. Several British dailies have pointed out that British intelligence suspects Belgrade as being the source of the explosives. Sunday Herald:

“One other theory [about the London Bombing] is that the terrorists may have got their explosives from Belgrade, the Serbian capital. According to Israeli security analysts, British anti-terror specialists have flown to Belgrade with samples of the explosives used. A number of illegal weapons traffickers operate out of Serbia and are known to have connections to terror groups and repressive regimes around the world. Americans have traced weapons seized in Iraq to Serbia.”

There is nothing about Bosnia or Kosovo in this article.

Russia is too far; bring him home, bring him to the craddle of Serbia, yeap bring the bitch to Kosovo so that he can spend his last days in the place where he started his rise to power. Go ahead, bring his wife and son too and whatever family members he might have. We will make sure he spends his last days in as much pain as he has caused.

I guess the State Department was wrong in their 98 label of the KLA as a terrorist organization?

Reports after the 7/7 bombing said that there was a possibility that the explosives used were possibly of military or construction grade. Immediately afterwards, a Serbian General had said that there was a destinct possibilty that military grade explosives were missing from bases that were over run during the 92-95 war.

As far as aid flowing into the country, there has been well over 400 million dollars spent there within the last 2 years and more on its way. (USAID)

This Serb General is still better than your so called historians that you constantly refer to.

Please show me this list that you are now referring to as them being Terrorist and the removal of the KLA off the list.

Otherwise shut up with your propoganda.

To the 5:17 PM dude,
Chill out man. I can see your frustration:
Who are these damn Albanian who are not letting me get away with my lies? Lies are my thing. I have fooled the world for decades, but now these Albanians are really frustrating me. Why doesn't the world believe us anymore? We use to be the masters of propaganda. What has gone wrong? I am really frustrated right now. I cannot even write an "argument” anymore. I hate these Albanians. We should have killed all of them. We are a more powerful state, but it seems that they are always getting their way. Have we made God mad? (yeahhh! you “Liberated Srebrenica” a and “protected” Albanians from NATO bombing). What must we do now? Please God don't punish us for not having slaughtered all the filthy Muslims and Catholics. Where is the Serbian glory? Have we lost our glory? NO NO- We are a very proud nation. We stand behind our actions. Oh God, don't do this to us. ohrrr, right now i feel like going through this screen and shutting down the internet. The Internet is letting these filthy Albanians write all kinds of nasty stuff about us.. ohrrrrr ohrrr and it gets worst- the whole world hates us. When I meet somebody, I don't even tell them that I am a Serb. I just say I am a Yugoslavian. That really helps brothers.
This has been a reading of frustrated Serbian mind!
Sincerely yours,
The mind reader!
